The Empire of Roth's lore and rules have been specifically designed for our game by our creator and resident Lore Master. It is ever evolving as the world gets richer and gains depth, both through character interaction and Loremaster meddling. OUR STORY
Regions
Formerly known as the borderlands larp. The Empire of Roth was conceived in early 2014, with the first Borderlands Larp event being held later that same year. The Borderlands universe is the brain child of Creator and Co-Founder Stetson Williams, and would not have been possible without massive effort made by Co-Founders Cody Waters, and Jordan Bennett. Since we began, the EOR Community has grown, and many great people have joined our ranks, all of whom we would like to thank for their patronage and contribution.
It is our goal as the games administrators to provide a safe and fun environment in which our players can immerse themselves, becoming their characters and living out fantasies imposible in their everyday life. It is our belief that Role Play has power to change a person's outlook, allowing them to overcome fears, gain confidence, and learn to see themselves in a whole new light. It is also a good way to get out in the wild and get a weekend full of the exersise that so many of us are missing out on with our fast paced modern life styles. No matter what your motivation, we hope to see you soon.
Currently the Borderlands Larp fees are:
$10/day or $20 for a full weekend pass
Extras:
$10 optional NPC Waiver (allows player to opt out of NPCing)
Currently all parking is Free.
All new players are granted a grace period during their first two events during which no fees will be charged. This way you have ample opportunity to test our game and make sure it is for you before ever spending a dime on it.
The Site
The Empire of Roth is held on around 25 acres of private, forested, property located in Telogia FL., which we are graciously allowed the use of for our events. This allows us a certain level of freedom not held by Larps that rent space at parks or campsites. That being said, it is asked that we be respectful of the land and its owners, who live on site but far out of the game's way.
